Hi everyone,
Earlier today, Brave started glitching on my Windows 11 PC, so I had to force‑close the browser. When I reopened it, 4–5 of my profiles were missing from the profile menu.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Checked
%LOCALAPPDATA%\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Dataand confirmed my old profile folders (e.g.,Profile 2,Profile 3) are still present. -
Attempted to create a new profile and swap in the old data — Brave still didn’t display them.

Looked in the Recycle Bin for deleted folders — nothing there.

No recent backup from File History or cloud sync available.
I’d like to know:

Is there a way to re‑link these existing folders so Brave recognizes them again?

Could the crash have corrupted a key config file, and is it repairable?

Any other safe recovery steps to try before starting from scratch?
