Lost Brave profiles and saved passwords – profiles still exist in User Data folder

Hello,

I recently encountered a problem with my Brave browser.

All my browser profiles suddenly disappeared from the Brave interface. However, when I checked the folder on my computer (C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data), I can still see multiple profile folders such as Profile 1, Profile 2, up to Profile 10.

Currently, Brave only opens the Default profile. Most of my saved data is missing:

  • My Gmail accounts are logged out
  • Most of my saved passwords are no longer visible
  • Only a few passwords (Instagram, Pinterest, Tinder) appear in the password manager

I already ran a full Windows Security scan and no viruses were detected.

Is there a way to restore my previous profiles or recover my saved data (especially emails and passwords) from the existing profile folders?
