why do i now get logged out all sites every time i shutdown brave its only recently become a problem

You didn’t specify where you’re experiencing the issue (PC or mobile).

If on Android, check the following:

  1. Settings → Brave shields & privacy.
  2. Make sure Clear data on exit is disabled.

If on PC, check the following:

  1. Open brave://settings/clearBrowserData via the address bar.
  2. Click on On exit and check whether anything is selected.

on pc unchecked boxes so see if it helps, this problem started after running a spyware scan

Eh, forgot about the redundant Chromium feature that is still in Brave.

Go to brave://settings/cookies and make sure Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows is disabled.
