Laggy videos on android app

Hi, i can’t get youtube videos running propertly on my vivo v50 lite, i used to have a samsung s20 fe and i’ve never experienced this problem on it. Any video that i want to play while on youtube on brave (no matter which quality or framerate) lags frequently every single time. Only the video lags, not the sound. I tried turning vulkan off, and trying out brave nightly and beta and they all share the problem. I’m running android 15 and it’s up to date. I’m using brave version 1.86.142, nightly version 1.88.54 and beta version 1.87.171.

I’m unable to reproduce, YouTube is playing smooth here on a OnePlus N200 5G on Android 16.

What does brave://gpu show? Here’s mine below.

(I can’t use Vulkan, it crashes Brave on my phone.)

I wasn’t aware of that function, should i change something? I don’t know if this is relevant but i also tried playing youtube on an s22 ultra and it shares the same problem but in a very subtle way. I tried disabling vulkan but this time it made it worse. Brave on desktop works wonderfully though
