@ key not showing when input

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. When using a keyboard with Latin Spanish configuration, when input @ key it doesn’t work

  2. I try it on other browsers (firefox, safari, chrome, Opera) and it works fine

  3. I realize it started to happen since the before last update (not the last one) the one before.

Expected result: When input shift+q on Mac it should display the @ key

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.84.135 (Build oficial) (arm64)

Chromium: 142.0.7444.135

Additional Information: If I change the keyboard config to US or any other language it works fine, only happens with Lat Spanish config

Interesting, I’m seeing this too with “Latin American - Spanish” and yes JUST the @ symbol, I to am on macos (26.1 with MacBook M3 Pro) as per your #tag, instead it’s giving quotes e.g.: “”

Further example: !"#$%&/()=

Another tag for this would be bug

I’m ALSO going to tag @Mattches to take a look.
