Issues with YouTube full screen and PIP

Description of the issue: Brave not showing videos in full screen nor is picture in picture working

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to m.youtube.com

  2. Select any video to play

  3. Enter full screen, either from the icon on the web address bar or the built in YouTube player button. The size of the video is noticeably smaller than the phone screen. Example below of a video playing in portrait

  4. Rotate the phone to landscape

  5. Press home to initiate picture in picture

Expected result:

  1. The video to fill the entire screen when clicking the full screen button and no empty space
  2. A picture in picture should appear on top of other apps when exiting Brave

Mobile Device details

Samsung galaxy 26 ultra. One UI 9

Additional Information: The audio of the video will continue playing in the background when exiting chrome but the PIP window does not appear. PIP is also turned on in the phone settings

@sunsetdream_06 can you please update to the latest build of the browser and check to see if the issue persists?

hi, this has been resolved. the issue was down to the accessibility/zoom setting being 80% and therefore not allowing full screen videos. i resolved this by applying a custom zoom to m.youtube site at 100%.
