Internal Site Showing "Not Secure" Even Though Certificate CA Is In Local Store

**Description of the issue:
**
Hi,

I have internal sites. I also have an internal CA. One of the sites I connect to internally is a Proxmox host. When I connect to it it shows up the top left “Not Secure”. When I click on that, it says “Certificate Valid”. The internal CA certificate is imported into local Windows root store. All other major browsers don’t complain about the page being insecure.

Any ideas?

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Would be very difficult to reproduce exactly.

Expected result: Connection to show as secure. Just like Chrome & Firefox does.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.83.120 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: Tested on latest Chrome version. Shows the connection being fine and secure. Tested on latest Firefox version. Same result. Only Brave shows the connection being insecure. Yet it shows the certificate as valid.

When clearing site data / cache through the top left area / method it didn’t fix the issue.
However when I went through the Brave settings menu and deleted the site data that way, it did fix the issue.

Issue resolved.
