I think my PC was hacked. After my antivirus detected a trojan, all saved passwords were erased from Brave's password manager. Is there a way I can recover the passwords?

I’m using Win 10 Home.

If I can’t recover my passwords, I will lose access to my social media accounts.

Please help.

All passwords are saved and encrypted on your device side only. If you have an existing sync chain with another device, you may be able to recover using that. Or if you ever did a backup of your \brave-browser folder or where you did an Export Passwords, it may be there.

That said, Brave would not possess your passwords or anything.
