Huge latency on Asana (Shields down)

Description of the issue:
Hi, so I’m struggling with a 40 seconds+ delay sometimes when loading my Asana page.

I’m not entirely sure it is related to Brave, but I have the issue on 2 different Brave sessions, using different Asana accounts, and having tried to disable all extensions.
The issue is either with their servers, or Brave. (IMHO)

The root issue is that Asana sockets fail to connect
The url is: wss://cdn.sync.app.asana.com/socket

I’m not sure if Brave can be doing anything (security) on sockets, so I thought to ask here.

How can this issue be reproduced?

Hard to reproduce, random, device-specific.

Expected result:
No latency on loading.

Brave Version( check About Brave): v1.79.126

Additional Information:

Here is what Asana support recommended, but I don’t think I can do that (I’m at home, there is no proxy nor “security system”)

@Vado thank you for the detailed report.
I just tested this on my end and am not seeing any issues loading Asana pages. You may just need to clear cache/site data for Asana. I would go ahead and try that by:

1. Visiting the site (asana.com)
2. Click the “tune” icon to the left of the URL
3. Click Site settings --> Delete data
4. Refresh the page, sign back in

Test to see if the site loads any quicker.
