How to switch unverified Uphold to Gemini wallet

Briefly describe your issue:
I have been linked my brave rewards to Uphold but not yet verified. Meaning I have created account in Uphold but not verified my identity. (No KYC).

Now I want to link to Gemini. As of now, rewards settings of my browser shows disconnected. Whenever I clicked it goes to verify Uphold page. How do I de-link uphold from brave and link to Gemini.

I did restore my wallet. It helps me but do it at your own risk.

  • Go to Brave rewards settings

  • Copy Recover key

  • Select Restore & paste your Recover key and click restore.

did it wiped out your existing BATs?

Nope. For me no issues, managed to get my whole BATs. But from what I see from community forum, few users lost whole BATs and for few it retains only last month earnings after restore.

great. what i did was after waiting for a while, i have the option to Disconnect From Brave Rewards and when i clicked on that it sort of made available the link to Gemini and everything falls into place thereafter. Managed to connect to Gemini and got all my BATs in Gemini.
