Description of the issue: I’m trying to move a very small amount of USDC ($1.12) from my Binance account into my Brave Wallet on the Solana network.
Is the issue occurring on a specific network? no
What operating system are you using? Linux (browser)
Brave Version (check About Brave): Brave 1.83.118 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
- My current Binance balance is 1.12 USDC.
- Brave Wallet Solana address is ready to receive USDC or SOL.
- Just need guidance on whether this small balance can be bridged, swapped, or used without topping up more funds.
Step 1: Convert Your Crypto to BNB on Binance
-
Log in to your Binance account.
-
Go to your “Spot Wallet”.
-
Find your asset (e.g., USDT) and click “Trade” or “Convert”.
-
Trade all of it for BNB.
Step 2: Withdraw BNB to Your Brave Wallet
-
In Binance, go to “Withdraw Crypto”.
-
For the asset, select BNB.
-
For the network, you MUST select BNB Smart Chain (BEP20).
-
Get your Brave Wallet address:
-
Paste your Brave Wallet address into Binance’s recipient field.
-
Double-check that the address matches perfectly and the network is BSC (BEP20).
-
Withdraw your BNB. It should arrive in a few minutes.
Step 3: Bridge BNB to SOL in Brave Wallet
Do not use “Swap” for this step. You are moving between different networks, so you need a bridge.
-
In your Brave Wallet, click on the “Bridge” tab.
-
Set up the bridge as follows:
-
Enter the amount of BNB you want to convert to SOL. You only need a small amount (e.g., $0.50 worth) to get enough SOL for gas fees.
-
Review the transaction and confirm. A small fee will be charged.
Step 4: Connect Your Brave Rewards
-
Once the bridge is complete, you will see SOL in your wallet on the Solana network.
-
Now, go to your Brave Rewards settings and connect your Brave Wallet.
-
Confirm the connection. The required gas fee (about 0.00094 SOL) will be paid from your new SOL balance.
Are you still having trouble sending/bridging?
