How to enable scrolling when clicking the mouse wheel in Brave

Description of the issue:
When I click the mouse wheel (middle button) in Brave Desktop I expect it to show and active auto scroll, as illustrated in https://cdn.ghacks.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/mouse-auto-scroll-chrome.jpg.

I’m running Brave 77.0.68.139 on Ubuntu 16.04 AMD 64.

How can this issue be reproduced?
Click the middle button in a web page.

Expected result:
A mouse wheel should appear.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
77.0.68.139

So when you middle click the mouse wheel, what does happen?

For me, nothing.

I use Manajaro with the kde desktop if that helps. I also have to enable the feature manually on firefox. I can middle click to open new tabs, etc…

But auto-scroll is absent.
