How to always open links from other apps on a new tab?

Description of the issue: Opening the urls from an external source (e.g. other app) will replace its content in the last tab, not open a new tab. This prevents simple opening multiple urls at once - every opened link replaces the previous one on the last tab.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Have couple of links saved in your messaging app.
  2. Open/tap on the first url, do the same for the next one.
  3. See the result of only last url being opened in browser.

Expected result: When opening urls from other than the browser itself, they should open on a new tab.

Brave Version: Brave 1.41.100

Mobile Device details: Huawei Matepad Tablet Android 10

Brave Search does have an option in settings that you can toggle to enable/disable this option. If enabled, when you click the link it will open in a new tab and switch to that tab.

Edit: Ugh. Just noticed this was mobile support/android device. The above applies to desktop. I do not know if this works the same for Android devices. Leaving it for reference just in case it applies.
