I 100% agree with you, and that’s why I’ve made a habit of pressing the middle mouse button or Ctrl+click to open tabs without much thought.

I’ve become used to this behavior, since no browser currently provides this option, nor probably ever will due to the majority of users wanting to keep tabs to a minimum.
