Google Meet/Hangout Doesn't work

Description of the issue:
When I open a google hangout/meet link, I get an error:
“Meet doesn’t work on your browser. To join the video meeting download Chrome, Firefox, or Edge”

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Visit https://meet.google.com/ and attempt to start/join a meeting

Expected result:
To be able to join a meeting/start a meeting

Reproduces how often:
Every time

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Mac OS Catalina 10.15.3

Hi @jharbs,

Can you confirm what your Shield settings are when attempting to start or join a meeting? A screenshot would be perfect.

Apologies for the slow reply, we appreciate your patience. Have you tired uninstalling and reinstalling your browser? Some unnecessary extensions can cause issues and may need to be disabled. You can also try clearing out the browser’s cache by going to brave://settings/clearBrowserData.

Hey Aaron,
The culprit was a User Agent Switcher extension. Removing this extension fixed the issue. Thanks for your help and suggestions!
