Can't share screen in Google Meet

Description of the issue:

I can’t share my screen in Google meet

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary).

  1. Open a Google meet
  2. Click the “screen share”

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

“screen share is not supported”

Expected result:

Screen been shared

Reproduces how often:

Everytime

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Version 1.18.78 Chromium: 87.0.4280.141 (Official Build) (a 64 bit)

Getting the same behavior. Is this a Google Meet problem or Brave?

Hello – can you both ensure that you have the Hangouts extension enabled in Settings --> Extensions?
