Global shields settings goes back to default after browser restart

Hello!

The settings for the global shield is going back to default every time the browser is restarted.
For example: I prefer to have trackers and ads blocked on aggressive and it works fine until the browser restarted. Then it goes back to standard. Therefore I need to change it manually everytime, and that is easy to forget.

Does anyone knows about this and knows what to do? Could it be I have changed some setting which make this happen? Or is this the way it is supposed to be?

I run version 1.14.81

make sure to check the clear on exit option
brave://settings/privacy
Clear browsing data
