Could we get something alike on Brave, eventually?
How about going one (great) step further and provide a web page snapshot, with the original link saved somewhere - sort of your private Web Archive? This is a feature of Firefox (still working on the pre 52 versions) that the Scrapbook extension provided. Actually ScrapbookX was the current updated version. Web Scrapbook for Chrome and Firefox * is Danny Lin’s current work at rewriting ScrapbookX for Chrome and Firefox - maybe Brave could give him a hand, AND add a feature where the page saved is saved in the cloud rather than locally.

I’ve been using an extension for Chrome and it works for Brave. It doesn’t allow you to crop, however but it does allow full page captures:
Brave Browser is a fork of Chrome, so I doubt that specific extension will work.
I just tried it and for me, it worked perfectly.
The smoothiest screenshot extension ever was exactly this!

I’d love this feature too - it’s feels lousy to depend on an extension for something some common as this in 2024; Brave already has a screenshot feature, it should be a matter of just making it the whole page/frames on page.
The absence of ANY feedback from the Dev team is depressing… I mean… As new user, what’s the actual remit of this forum?! To get improvement suggestions from the people who make the decision to use your software DAILY and feedback how development is going and how features are being improved?? - Almost like it’s a 2-way communication mechanism… Hmmmmmm… But, one can only hope for information nowadays. Only in the ‘age of information’ would humans actually be less communicative yet more assumptive lol
Can this just be done, please? I HATE installing 3rd party code for features which should be improved and better integrated. There is no need for Brave to require my installation of extra, possibly dodgy, 3rd party code.
This feature needs to be built-in as a matter of security and basic functionality.
I am amazed that the feature DIDN’T scroll to better accomodate my screenshot requirements.
I have also posted in (Option for SCREENSHOT and SCROLL for capturing screenshots of full web page - #11 by another_user_acount) as that was the first result I found. The ‘Android’ tag wasn’t obvious and was far too easily overlooked, if it was important, it would be more obvious, I feel.
I think that simple screenshot functionality needs finishing and be implemented on all platforms.
It’s just crazy that Brave devs think that the current functionality is ‘best in class’… Nope. It offers nothing over my OSs screenshot functionality. And is quite useless on it’s own. Such a strange outlook to think that people SHOULD Install random pieces of code in their WEB CLIENT of all things.
It’s depressing that most people simply don’t think things through to their natural conclusion.
Oh, and ADD A TIMESTAMP to the filenames!

Workarounds, guessing and making-do seem to be the new way of [not] solving problems and generally improving things.
In a world devoid of exacting, detailed technical information, fixing things at the root seems to be a rare luxury.
Something I’ve always said since the 90s is that forum software is wholly unsuitable for technical support use cases. BUT it’s easy to install and bend into a shape resembling something inexperienced people will assume is an organised support platform… So you get things like this on the Web 
OMG no. What, make yet another user account and store photos of my screen on someone’s random server? WTF are you on? lol Why would you require or even prefer that random people hold your data? O_o
(IMHO, we need fewer bad ideas. But if this is what people now think is useful and secure… I mean, the Web is already highly degraded and full of paid malware, but I digress.)
Local saving is a basic and ubiquitous function and retains ownership of the data and secures it against unauthorised access.
Saving potentially sensitive images to someone else’s computer in another part of the world, through some potentially proprietary protocol should be an optional extra added by an official extension.
Maybe, if people can’t upload a picture from their computer or organise some cloud sync software on their own, they should learn how to use their OS?
There has to be some basic level of comprehension when using computers, we can’t expect just anything to be able to use a computer.
