Hello Brave Team,
I would like to suggest several improvements to provide a more consistent and user-friendly experience across Android, iOS, and Desktop versions of Brave:
-
10-second forward/backward video controls (Android, iOS & Desktop):
On iOS Safari, some websites provide built-in 10-second skip buttons, which make video navigation much easier. On Android Brave, this feature is missing on almost all websites. It would be great if Brave could implement native 10-second forward and backward buttons in the video player controls across Android, iOS, and Desktop, ensuring a consistent and precise video seeking experience on all platforms. -
Picture-in-Picture (PiP) navigation on Android:
On iOS, when a video enters PiP mode, users can continue browsing within the same browser or switch to other apps while the video keeps playing in a floating window. On Android Brave, PiP currently does not allow in-browser navigation, which limits usability. Please consider improving PiP functionality on Android to match the iOS experience. -
Tab closing behavior consistency:
On Android Brave, closing a tab shows an “Undo” confirmation prompt, while on iOS and Desktop this does not appear. Unifying this behavior across platforms would improve consistency. -
Open in Tab Group (iPhone support):
On iPad Safari, links can be opened directly within a tab group, but this option is not available on iPhone or Brave iOS. Adding this feature would improve cross-device consistency.
These enhancements would significantly improve usability, platform consistency, and overall user experience in Brave.
Thank you for your continued development and support.
Best regards,
