Description
Safari has this really handy feature that even if a link is opened in a new tab, the back button is enabled. Clicking on the back button will close the new tab and bring the user back to the original tab. This makes links opened in the new tab / current tab behave consistently.
Steps to reproduce
- Go to news.google.com
- Click a news and make sure it opens in a new tab
- Back button is disabled
Actual result
Back button is disabled, in order to go back to the original tab, one needs to either to the tabs overview or swipe below the address bar to switch tab.
Expected result
Back button should be enabled to allow easier navigation
