Editing stored data in Brave

Description of the issue: How do I edit or prevent Brave from storing data that displays in drop down menus?
How can this issue be reproduced? ??

Expected result: drop down menu data not stored

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.84.139 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

I haven’t used Autofill in a long time but I believe that is what you are wanting to change, so go to:

Brave Settings > Autofill and passwords

Which leads you to: brave://settings/autofill
and go through all the settings and menus etc. within there and turn them all off or as you see fit.

Along with the above, more specifically:
brave://password-manager/settings
brave://settings/payments
brave://settings/addresses ← I believe is most important to you.

Assuming this resolves your issue, consider hitting the Solution button, not so much for some stat for myself but for others who might have a similar question in the future.

If it doesn’t, be more specific…
e.g. I see in my search results on this / the Brave Community website there are still things hanging around in recent searches, but I believe that is because of Cookies and site data

& for future reference, a tip for search:
Magnifying Glass (top right) > Filters Button (on right side of pop down) > leading to Advanced Search, you can use for better search results.

Brave remembers my library card number; it always appears in the drop-down menu when I click on the field to login. Even when I delete the number by selecting the ā€œxā€ on the right of the drop-down menu, the number disappears, but still, I have to manually enter the number to access my account, Brave stores it again. I’ve turned off everything having to do with passwords, credit cards, addresses, etc. While I can view stored information, when it’s there, I’ve never seen my library card number displayed anywhere; it doesn’t have a password associated with it.

I’ve reinstalled brave, turned off the aforementioned features immediately, but the condition still persist.

Guess I’m still missing something…

I’ve come hear and it’s been marked as read but I’m too tired to respond so I apologize, I’ll try to come back tomorrow but if not bump the post and hopefully some other support can assist, I’ll try to remember to come back to you, sorry if you get lost in the shuffle

Speaking of autofill (tried helping a user over here earlier: How to edit autofill email addresses - #2 by User.1.000.000.000) @Saoiray migth you have some ideas for @joe6pac (and possibly @Zeroroadkill in the other post mentioned, assuming they update with more info)?
