Description of the issue:
I have noticed recently that whenever my PC sleeps or I exit Brave browser my downloads history disappears! Its really annoying cuz I could be downloading a file and my PC sleeps for a minute, when I wake it and check my downloads on Brave, everything is gone including the file I was currently downloading. They should please do something about it! How can this issue be reproduced?
Download anything and exit Brave or sleep/restart your PC
Expected result:
Keep my downloads history without wiping both completed and ongoing downloads
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave is up to date
I am also seeing the same behaviour, but it seems to be with only certain file types (e.g. .zip files, but .jpg is ok) anyone have any clues what is going on here?
This is still an issue and i think there has been an update since this was first posted, some sites do this, with certain file types (mostly .mp3 and .mp4 files in my case I think), and depending on the saved location a well, ones to other than default location can suffer from this, sometimes.
Hi, as you seem to have same download problem..I think mine may have got fixed when I did a browser reset yesterday. It seems to remember my downloads properly again now, and nothing bad happened with any settings, maybe worth a try?
