This is an existent feature on MacOS and it would be great to also be able to use it on my phone, for a more connected feeling. The sync is great but it would be nicer to also have the option of setting the same wallpaper, since aesthetics of the setup matter for quite a lot of people and it’s a feature that exists in most other browsers.
GitHub FYI, as it says there:
Issue is in Chromium; we’ll likely wait for the fix (hovering over Chromium/waiting upstream)
in most recent update (bottom of the thread).

### Description
I understand that Brave for deskto… p already allows users to upload a custom background for the new tab page. It would be fantastic to extend this feature to mobile devices by enabling users to select an image from their phone’s gallery as a background.
While it may seem like a small addition, it could significantly enhance the sense of personalization and user engagement. Many users appreciate the ability to make their devices reflect their own style, and this feature would align well with that desire.
Thank you for all the great work you’re doing. I truly hope this suggestion is considered — I’d be excited to see it implemented.
Update:
The button exists in Brave Nightly now after enabling a flag, but when I customised my wallpaper it didn't work.

Update: It's still in development (despite the button doesn't work) confirmed by Agus on X/Twitter (https://x.com/aguscruiz/status/1963661306466038122)
