I’m using Brave on mobile and I really like it for speed and privacy.
However, I don’t understand why New Tab customization (like setting a background image) exists on desktop but not on mobile.
Adding a single background image wouldn’t cause any real performance or battery issues on modern phones. It feels more like an artificial limitation than a technical one.
At least giving users an optional background image setting would be great. Those who care about minimalism can keep it off, and others can customize their experience.
Please consider bringing New Tab background customization to the mobile version as well.
