Description of the issue:
“Continue where you left off” startup option is not working. Recently closed tabs won’t automatically restore when relaunching Brave browser.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open at least 2 tabs then search for anything.
- Close Brave Browser then relaunch it.
- All tabs are gone. Only the default tab is open.
Expected result:
Brave opens all tabs that have been opened last time when the browser was closed.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.58.137 Chromium: 117.0.5938.153 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
This issue does not exist on my PC with WIN10. However, recently I started using laptop with WIN11 and the issue occurs. The thing is, that this sometimes works and sometimes it does not (mostly it doesn’t).
I have tried:
- clearing cache
- clearing history
- deleting extensions
- changing to “open the new tab page” and closing the browser, opening browser again, changing to “continue…” and closing + opening again
None of the above worked. To give you more info, I have full sync switched on.
I hope you will be able to help me with this, because frankly speaking, this is a must have for me and I do not imagine using brave without this feature.
