Description of the issue:
Use https://search.brave.com/, try to search, be confronted with “Confirm you’re not a robot” … every time.
How can this issue be reproduced?
-
Enter subject for search
-
Presented with the “Confirm you’re not a robot” page … up to 20 times for one search (I gave up at that point, & selected a bookmark to get here!).
Expected result:
No “Confirm you’re not a robot”, especially given I’m not, & have to do this multiple times an hour, & it’s worse with each Brave version update.
There were no errors like this ~8 months ago, so what is the reason?
This error has been getting worse, daily, for a few months, hence this.
Nothing has changed on my end, excepting the Brave version. I’ve used Proton for a long time, too.
I cleared ‘shields & privacy’ settings - no change;
I cleared all site data - it worked, once, & now it’s back again multiple times.
This issue is “The One”, that which drives me away from Brave, because it’s intolerable.
(No, Brave, I’ll not buy YOUR VPN offering to fix this.)
