cancel button not working on youtube playback

I’m using Android.
After connecting to youtube on brave, when playing a video, the phone sometimes does not respond when I press the cancel button.
It often responds only after pressing it 3~5 times. Is there any solution?

The phone’s own buttons don’t work.

@tbsorrj it’s also worth knowing whether or not you see this behavior in other browsers as well as in Brave.
