Can I make the sync code last forever?

Description of the issue: I had to format the computer a while ago due to an error. It turned out that this error was persistent and I had to spend almost a week without using the computer. And when I finally solved the problem, I came across a message on Brave, saying that my sync code had expired, and that I had to generate a new one. I would have lost all my tabs, bookmarks, passwords, etc. if I hadn’t made an appdata backup beforehand. I know the title says “last forever”, but if we could at least say how long it should last, that would be enough.

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): 1.93.136

Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question: Computer to computer

Additional Information: I linked sync on my phone too, but I don’t know if it’s possible to generate a code for the computer using my cell phone…

Hmm I’m actually not sure why it would say expired unless you didn’t use (Sync/receive/send data between devices) for a year, as I believe an unused [for 12 months] Sync chain goes expired and gets wiped from our servers.

Regardless, we’re actually working on an account based Sync (Brave Sync v3) which would allow users to Sync their data using the current methodology or using account based (username + password) Sync.
