Bring back the orange accent color on Android or add custom UI color options

Hello,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent update on Android (July 2026).

Over night, the classic orange accent color on tabs and menus was replaced with a light blue color without my consent.

There is absolutely no setting in the Android app to change this back. I shouldn’t have to modify my phone’s system settings (Xiaomi HyperOS) just because Brave decided to force a new UI color on its users.

Brave used to be an excellent, user-first browser, but lately, the overall experience has been highly disappointing.

If we are not given the option to customize the browser’s colors or get the original orange back, I will unfortunately have to switch to another browser.

Please give us control over our interface.

Agree, for me this is much less visible and is an impairment on the interface, it doesn’t bring anything to the table just makes it less visible so it’s a regression not progression or improvement.
