Brave Rewards Onboarding with BAT Account SOL gas fees Sponsorship

What this means is anyone who does get the invite and wants to receive the Solana payouts will need to have some SOL in their wallets so it can create the BAT account for you to receive the BAT tokens. They said it’s a small amount, such as like $0.50 USD worth of SOL, give or take. The Sol gas fee associated with BAT account creation poses a significant obstacle to a seamless user onboarding experience for Brave Rewards.

Given Brave’s substantial monthly active user base, onboarding these users into Brave Rewards would generate substantial advertising revenue, effectively rendering the Sol gas fee a minor expense.

Similarly, the Safe wallet’s sponsorship of Ethereum gas fees enables effortless creation of various Ethereum token accounts (Gnosis, Polygon, Optimism, etc).

I respectfully suggest reconsidering the sponsorship of BAT token account creation to facilitate a more streamlined user experience and promote increased adoption of Brave Rewards.
