In your last reply, the first, long carparts.com link is not a Clean Link ← study it from left to right:

At the question mark, everthing to the right of it, is tracking and ads junk. But, when I right-click on that long link and select Copy clean link, I get:

… instead of:
https://www.carparts.com/details/Toyota/Highlander/Replacement/Grille_Trim/2015/XLE/REPT070703.html
And I wonder, if that not-a-clean-link, is mis-understood - ie not processable - so Brave Browser tosses the issue back to the OS?
