Brave Mobile Closes During YouTube Playback

I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to share some feedback based on my experience using Brave on mobile.

First of all, I’d like to sincerely thank you for creating such a fast, privacy-focused browser. I’ve been using Brave since 2020, and for almost six years now it has been my primary browser. I really appreciate the strong privacy protection, built-in ad blocking, and overall smooth performance. These features are the main reasons I’ve stayed with Brave for so long.

I wanted to report an issue I often face while watching YouTube videos on the Brave mobile browser. The video plays smoothly without any problems, but sometimes Brave itself gets removed from the screen and I’m taken back to my phone’s home screen automatically. When I open Brave again, the YouTube video starts playing from the beginning instead of resuming from where I left off. This can feel frustrating, especially when watching longer videos.

I’m not sure if this is related to background handling or app behavior on mobile, but I wanted to share this feedback in case it helps improve the experience in future updates.

Despite this issue, I still really enjoy using Brave and truly appreciate the work your team continues to do. Thank you for listening to user feedback and for building such a great browser.
