All in the span of 2minutes

Thank you for sharing the reports. Can you tell me if you’re on Windows 11 or 10 at this time?

Windows 10 mostly for preference.

@cannonk3 can you try creating a new browser profile (Menu --> More tools --> Add profile), close your original profile window, then browse a bit in the new profile and tell me if you see the same crashes?

Still crashes after browsing

Thank you for testing.
I’ve forwarded the crash reports to our devs to review – will reply back here as soon as I hear from them.

Any chance theres been an update to this or stilll waiting to review.

@cannonk3

You might not get an answer until after the weekend.

omg forgot its the weekend

Any chance this got any info?

Sorry you were missed today, sounds like you might be having a similar issue as the user here: Brave shuts down spontaneously, status access violation, status breakpoint … Might not mean anything but :man_shrugging: since you were missed going to tag in @Mattches I’m pretty sure he’s done for the day today but hopefully tomorrow he can get back to you

I have not heard back yet but I am waiting on a few replies to user crashes so hopefully soon. Will reply back here as soon as I have anything for you :folded_hands:

Still nothing? Problems still happening every 30seconds

This is going to be a strange question but I have reason for asking it and I’ll explain, you don’t happen to also like the other person, have a 13th or 14th gen Intel CPU that happens to be an i9 as well?

These CPU’s at the time were known to have confirmed issues at the silicon level (as in the fabrication) and memory access violation issues were indeed a common occurrence in logs.

If you don’t or have an AMD, then I don’t think this is related. I’m only asking you because the other user does I believe has one of those (though I thought they ended in 00K and 00KS, not 50HX).

yes & no. 12th gen intel i9-12900k. Like 2year old pc and these issues started about 2weeks ago.

Ok, the 12th gens didn’t have this problem so it’s completely unrelated. Just wanted to ensure it wasn’t one of those situations.

The longer this goes on the more I notice while watching any videos(twitch/youtube/movies etc.) crashes are far more frequent. nvidia geforce rtx 4070 super

@cannonk3 have you tried disabling Graphics Acceleration in the browser yet (brave://settings/system --> Use Graphics Acceleration...)?

Ngl thought it was off but yes its on. :person_facepalming:
