Auto logins and passwords now being forgotten. No problem until about a week ago.
Retyping Logins and resaving, forgotten on restart..
Settings to Save and auto login activated correctly
Expected result:
Brave Version( check About Brave):1.83.112
Additional Information: This aspect of Brave has been working correctly until about a week ago.
PS - I DO NOT recommend the [Russian?] Passcape Software for password recovery - because I am wary of using any “password recovery software” that might send info back to the software company/foundry.
I do recommend using at least 2 different methods for storing username-and-password combinations, in order to NOT lose them. I NEVER rely upon a single Internet application - such as a browser - for storing passwords.
Hey, I think my browser just updated to your same version (1.83.112) and I also had to login again into all websites. The history is still there, so I think that Brave cleared all cookies and/or website data.
Not sure about missing passwords, since I use an external password manager, but I’ve never had this problem before and the browser isn’t set to clear all data on exit.
