Description of the issue:
when I close brave or shut down my computer there is a chance that brave will not save any of my login info so I have to enter my email and password again every 2~3 days.
I made sure that I don’t have any of the delete browsing data on exit checkbox are enabled How can this issue be reproduced?
1.open brave browser
2.close it / shutdown your computer
3.reopen brave
Expected result:
all my login info should be saved so I don’t have to reenter my email and password again for every website that I need to use

1.79.199

I’ve been using the windows version for a while and I didn’t have this issue in there but I’m not sure about mac/android
I think I found a solution for this when I installed brave first I used curl -fsS https://dl.brave.com/install.sh | sh so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again using sudo apt install brave-browser ,it has been a few days now and I didn’t have any problems but I’m still not sure if this is the solution I’ll wait a few more days
So you’re saying that if you’re in Brave and you login to some sites and continue browsing, everything is fine and you stay logged in without any issues but when you click on any link anywhere you’re suddenly logged out?
Does this happen with links in the browser or only from other apps? Does this happen when the browser is closed?
That is definitely very strange. I’m curious if you have any extensions installed at this time and maybe one of them is causing the behavior but that would be a very strange effect for an extension to have.
Can you confirm that you don’t have any browsing data set to be cleared “on exit” in brave://settings/clearBrowserData --> On exit?
it worked for almost 2 weeks but for some strange reason it came back
