Brave browser update checker

Everyday if i open Brave i got a popup telling me i need to update my browser.

I already have the latest version but i keep getting this popup.

If i press the scanner nothing happens but i still keep getting the popup.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Opening the browser atleast once a day the popup shows

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.81.135 (Officiële build) (64-bits)

Additional Information:

Topic can be closed it is solved.

It was a add on that has issues working with Brave.

I was going to say it sounds like malware trying to get you to install something or give it permissions to your device. Still not sure if that might be the case.

But at least am seeing you mention that you consider this resolved. So I’ll mark it solved and close it as you requested.
