I’ve recently noticed some performance issues while using Brave in a dual monitor setup. One of my displays is a 5K monitor, and the second is 1440p. Overall system performance is smooth, and other applications behave normally, but Brave shows signs of lag, especially when the browser window is used on the higher-resolution screen.
Here’s what I’ve observed so far:
- Mild delay when dragging or resizing the Brave window
- Flickering at times during tab transitions
- Scroll performance becomes less fluid on some websites
- Toggling hardware acceleration has minimal effect
- All extensions were disabled during testing, but the issue persisted
I’m wondering if there’s a configuration or optimization specific to Brave that I’m missing.
Has anyone experienced similar behavior with Brave on a setup involving a 5K monitor? If so, are there any recommended flags or system tweaks that helped improve performance?
