I don’t know why, but this problem only happens with Brave. For example, I’ll go to a chess website, start playing, and then move a piece with the left mouse button and there’s a massive FPS drop, as if I’m just launching the game. I’ve tried both the beta and the nightly version, disabled hardware acceleration, and turned off Brave Shields, but nothing helps.
I even reinstalled Windows for this.

The frame rate is fine, but there are some freezes and lags, which is probably related to the rendering. I even experience lag when I’m writing and highlighting something. I downloaded Opera to test it - the same thing. There are no problems in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Vivaldi. Lol
