Description of the issue:
**How can this issue be reproduced?**Login in to Amazon.com. Brave requires Bluetooth permissions. I don’t grant permission and as a result I’m unable to login into Amazon. However, I’m able to use Safari as a workaround. The Bluetooth API in Brave://Flags is disabled.
The computer is a MacBook Pro with a current OS. The Brave browser is current according to the App Store.
I would like to use Brave for that website instead of Safari Thank you
Expected result: website access
Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.84 (140)
The current version of the browser should be v1.84.141 – just confirming that this is the actual version you have installed.
So you’re saying that attempting to login to Amazon.com prompts you to allow Bluetooth permissions for the site? Is this before or after you’re actually logged into the site? If you reset the bluetooth API flag back to “default” in brave://flags, then Block permissions when the prompt appears do you still get prompted to allow BT permissions when you login?
The message appears after entering user ID and password. The Bluetooth API is set to default. I also tried with it set to disable. I get the following message. I’ve relaunched Brave with no success I have access to Amazon.com with Safari. I also have access to Amazon using Brave on my iPhone 16 It’s only the MacBook Pro that has this issue AND only on Amazon (at least so far).
When you go to Amazon and see that prompt, what happens if you just hit Cancel? Does the prompt not disappear and allow you to login? Additionally do you have any extensions installed at this time?
