When I read comics online, I scroll up or down, sometimes I slightly hold on to the screen and the whole page goes blue and I cannot get rid of it unless I close out the app and restart it or I refresh the page. It happens constantly and is quite annoying. I don’t know if it’s a specific highlight feature or something cause even if I press copy or paste to try to get rid of the blue, it does not go away. And EVERYTHING is selected. The whole continuous page of comic.
We’ll need more information in order to troubleshoot the issue. What iOS and Brave version are you using when you see this issue? What is the specific site you’re encountering this issue on? Do you see this occur only in Brave or do other (ideally Chromium based browsers) also show the same behavior?
this is happening for me as well. iphone 13 mini, iOS 26.5.2 Brave v1.91.1 but it’s been happening to me for over a year. anytime i press on an image to scroll, the image turns blue. rather annoying tbh. it happens on any site with an image..4chan, twitter, even image search results. this only occurs with Brave afaik.
@randomName1 Can you share a screenshot of what you see when you do this on your end please?
You’re saying that the blue never goes away once it’s there? I ask because the blue color is just the browser highlighting the image in the same way if you long-press on text it will become highlighted in blue. I’m wondering if it’s sensitivity or time it takes to tap/hold is off. But either way, if you tap somewhere else, it should go away.
