Description of the issue: YouTube (and presumably other media sites) will not play in background or when screen is locked. Have found a somewhat fix in that when I block all cookies it will work, however, this means I cannot stay signed in unless using it on desktop site mode which is incredibly inconvenient. I have checked brave for updates, checked my phone itself for updates, cleared the cache, cold shut down and restarted phone, disabled then relaunched then enabled and relaunched the background play option, tried with shields down. Nothing but blocking all cookies works and it isn’t a sustainable or satisfactory fix. I’ve also tried using the picture in picture to see if it would continue playing from there with screen locked and that did not work either. Randomly started today after I had a video playing while my phone was locked and turned the volume all the way down. It stopped working directly after that
How can this issue be reproduced?
