An issue has cropped up on asuracomic.net where you’re getting an aggressive Full Screen Banner Ad that just blocks you from viewing the page or even closing the Ad.
It’s incredibly malicious. And the content filters I have on such as Fanboy’s don’t seem to block it this time.
I have a Custom filter I grabbed from the forums here that helps block an ridiculous giant banner ad. If anyone has anymore custom filters they use for this, please do share.
@Silentclock or just use Comick. Can be a small delay in being able to read but it’s been really good. I primarily do all my reading on Comick and then use Kenmei to track when everything is available and last chapters read. The combination of the two have been amazing.
I did pay for Asura just because I long had supported them. But if I knew they’d push it as hard as they are, I wouldn’t have offered such support. But even with that, I’m not reading much on their site.
I am worried that with them pushing monetization so much, they are going to get shut down. Reaper and a lot of others recently had to deal with it. Flame is somehow staying up, but they have been starting to struggle as well.
