So, you need to make a choice about cookies, and after Allowing JavaScript for the site, the Functional button worked . . . I clicked on that, and Brave Browser proceeded to display the site as expected.

This cookie popup should be blocked by Fanboy block cookie popups filter

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to: brave://settings/shields/filters and scroll down to the: Create custom filters section.

At the end of whatever is listed there (if anything), enter the following 6 lines:

trakt.tv##div.trakt-cookie-underlay.svelte-cx1ywp
trakt.tv##div.trakt-cookie-underlay.svelte-cx2ywp
trakt.tv##div.trakt-cookie-underlay.svelte-cx3ywp
trakt.tv##div.trakt-cookie-notice svelte-cx1ywp
trakt.tv##div.trakt-cookie-notice svelte-cx2ywp
trakt.tv##div.trakt-cookie-notice svelte-cx3ywp

Click the Save changes button, twice, and close that settings window.

Visit ‘https://app.trakt.tv/’ and test.

Note: See where the digit is in those lines? The website currently is using a 2 in character string: cx2ywp . . . but they might change to cx8ywp or another value on up to around cx40ywp. Or, they might change the entire cx2ywp character string-and-number(s).

The “notice” in those lines, is the cookie notice that you read at the website. The “underlay” in those lines, is the large opaque area that blocks your view of the website, until you normally select a cookie choice.
