App no longer opens on Ubuntu with v1.82.166

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install v1.82.166 on Ubuntu 24.04.3 x86-64

  2. App no longer opens, previous version worked without issues.

Expected result:

App opens.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

v1.82.166

Additional Information:

Regression after app updated automatically yesterday, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, rebooted the machine as well.

Okey I see this was already reported with an available workaround Brave won't open after it updated to version 1.82.166 on the 10 Sept. I am using Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS. It was working perfectly before the latest update & now it won't open at all - #4 by steeven
