Annoying pop-up on Brave Browser app on Android on Mobile

Every time I try to watch something on Brave Browser or Firefox on my phone for Android, that annoying pop-up keeps appearing every time I want to watch another video on my phone: “Have the best experience Enjoy all the features and have an ideal experience” and “Watch on the YouTube app.” I hate that annoying pop-up that keeps popping up when I want to watch something on Brave Browser or Firefox! This is ruining the experience for me and should be fixed to stop this annoying pop-up from appearing. I hope this gets fixed in App Brave Browser for Android!:expressionless_face::enraged_face::anger_symbol:

I have this enabled and im still getting the same issue

To be clear, this is not something we are doing – this is a “feature” (though I’d call it an annoyance) of Youtube. Further, its specific to the account that is signed in, not the browser you’re using.

So while you can watch YT content on Firefox without seeing this now, you likely will see it there at some point.

One thing you can try is using the built-in element blocker to block this element. The next time you see this, open the Shields panel, select Advanced controls then scroll down and tap Block element. Tap on the pop-up, block it, and refresh the page to see if it still shows.

Yes I agree, this isnt a brave browser issue but rather a youtube issue. I tried your recommendation and it successfully removed the pop up but the video is still paused as if there is a pop up in the background. I had to refresh the page in order to restart the video. Hopefully this is fixed in a future update. Thanks for coming back to me.
