When using the Brave AI Assistant to automate clicking download links on a website (AppFolio Owner Portal), downloads do not trigger even though clicks are registered successfully. What We Tried: 1. Clicked download links using AI Assistant click_element function with DOM element IDs - clicks registered but no downloads initiated 2. Tried clicking using screen coordinates instead of DOM IDs - same result 3. Attempted batch clicking (multiple downloads at once) - no downloads triggered 4. Tried clicking one at a time with delays - still no downloads 5. User enabled ‘Sites can ask to automatically download multiple files’ setting - but downloads still didn’t work 6. Attempted to navigate directly to PDF URLs - resulted in ‘action failed’ errors 7.
