Ad block isn't working

Hi, ad block ins’t working on any website. I’m using Brave for years.

Description of the issue: ad block doesn’t work

Exact URL of the website in question: any website, including youtube, reuters, etc

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no) yes

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? yes

Does the ad appear when using a Private window as well? (yes/no) yes

What OS are you using when you see the ad? win10

Brave version (check About Brave): 1.65.123 Chromium: 124.0.6367.91 64 bits

@sabotag3x do a favor and check brave://components. Try to update everything. You may need to launch Brave as administrator first. Most likely it’s a permissions issue.
