2FA Setup Fails on Brave Creators Dashboard

When attempting to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on the Brave Creators dashboard, the QR code is generated correctly and can be scanned with an authenticator app. However, after entering the 6-digit verification code, the page shows a client-side exception error and fails to proceed with setup.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to Brave Creators Dashboard.

  2. Go to Account Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication.

  3. Click Enable 2FA.

  4. Scan the QR code using an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator or Authy).

  5. Enter the 6-digit code displayed by the app.

  6. Observe the error.

Expected Result:
The code should be verified, and 2FA should be successfully enabled on the account.

Actual Result:
The page displays:

“Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).”
