I’m using Brave to listen to songs on YouTube. For non-instrumental tracks, the background music is drowning out the vocals, as if the audio layers are overlapping incorrectly. Is this happening to anyone else? Device info: Brave 1.89.145 | Samsung A34 | One UI 8.0 | Android 16.
Interestingly, this doesn’t happen when I use Bluetooth headphones; it only occurs through the phone’s built-in speakers.
Have you tried this using a different browser and/or the youtube app? I suspect that it will sound the same as what you’re hearing when playing music on YT using Brave.
I use Morphe as well and there there is no problem.
This started happening after I updated to ONE UI 8.0. I changed Samsung´s audio setting from Movie to normal and it seems it has improved, but still sounds a bit different compared to Morphe.
Can you please test Youtube in Brave against another browser, rather than a dedicated app like Morphe and tell me if the audio is the same in other browsers?
Tried in firefox and now sounds better? Maybe the problem came after the SO update and was affecting Brave?
You mean it sounds better in Brave after testing in Firefox?
