Youtube unplayable after some time

Description of the issue:

Playing any youtube video works fine with a restart, but after some time, the videos “lag” ALOT, essentially unusable.

The issue is independent of the Brave version, Shields, any extensions, settings/flags or the Profile.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Kill all instance of Bravem, then play few videos on Youtube

  2. Don’t use youtube for some time (not sure exactly how long)

  3. Playing any video again would lag every few seconds, on all profiles, extensions on or off, shields on or off, private window.

  4. Works fine on other browsers (like Firefox) while it breaks on Brave.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.89.137

Additional Information: The only way to fix this, is to kill all Brave instances and launching “fresh”, relaunch from updates also fixes, so could be due to something stored in storage?

FIX: So turns out the issue was due to laptop not being plugged in… Still I believe it’s a bug as it should not be unusable while the tab is ACTIVE!

UPDATE: This is NOT the fix! Still having issues while plugged in.
